Alex Margules
Alex Margules is a baseball coach at THE5 Baseball & Softball Training Facility. A graduate of the University of California, San Diego, Alex played on the Pierce College baseball team and club baseball at San Diego. In addition, he played at the varsity level at Viewpoint High School. He has coached players at THE5 since 2021, working with athletes of all ages through private instruction, seasonal camps, and special events. Alex brings a strong knowledge of all aspects of the game and a natural ability to connect with and develop young players.
Daniel “Dano” Martinez
Daniel “Dano” Martinez played two years of collegiate baseball at LA Mission College before continuing his playing career for two additional years at the University of Saint Mary, where he studied criminology.
In addition to his playing experience, he spent one year coaching at LA Mission College as a hitting and fielding coach for the softball program. His collegiate playing and coaching experience gives him a strong foundation for helping athletes improve their fundamentals, develop confidence, and grow their understanding of the game.
Daniella “Dani” Martinez
Daniella “Dani” Martinez is a student-athlete currently attending LA Mission College, where she is majoring in Health Science while continuing her softball career.
Dani has played softball since the age of three and was a three-year varsity player at San Fernando High School. Throughout most of high school, she also played competitive travel softball for Athletics Mercado.
Her primary position is center field, although she is experienced playing multiple positions on the field. Dani is passionate about helping young athletes develop their skills, confidence, and love for the game. She enjoys sharing the knowledge and experience she has gained through years of playing softball and learning from outstanding coaches and mentors.
